Zhou Qunfei, founder of Lens Technology, has come to define a new class of female entrepreneurs in China who have built their wealth from scratch.
She is currently the worlds richest woman and her wealth is entirely self made. She lives in Hong Kong on a $27 million dollar estate but more often than not she will be in her private jet flying to Sout Korea or California. Once there she meets with executives from companies like Apple or Samsung. These companies represent two of her largest clients and that of Lens Technology. The company supplies cover glass used in laptops, tablets and mobile devices, including the Apple iPhone and the Samsung Galaxy.
She sits at #91 on the Forbes list of Chinese billlionaires with an estimated worth of $1.7 billion. Perhaps a very long way from the number one guy, Jack Ma. With a fortune of over $20 Billion, Jack Ma is the former schoolteacher who founded and eventually floated his eCommerce business, the AliBaba group. Thats another story though. In the meantime, clicke the link below and read all about Zhou Qunfei. It’s quite the meteoric rise….
